This semester has been one long, absolute rut. Details are unnecessary but all i know is that i realize what the problems are and that if i want to get out of this rut i need to cut the slack and fix the problems. And I am so ready to do this.

Spring break was not too great except for st. patricks day. It was an interesting night. I will more than make up for my mediocre spring break in about a month when i COME TO ARIZONA! I am counting down the days, I cannot wait. I haven't seen most of you since last june and it is long over due. I miss everyone so much it is ridiculous.

Winter is getting old and I am ready for spring.

I just finished reading Less than Zero and have decided to post a few book suggestions below. I guess you could call it Craig's Book Club (it's kinda like Oprah's book club but without me yelling at the authors on tv and degrading them to the point of tears).

Here are three books that every guy (or girl) should read before you turn 20...

The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger (just don't let it control your mind to the point of wanting to assassin john lennon)

Perks of Being a Wallflower, Stephen Chbosky

Less than Zero, Bret Easton Ellis (absolutely amazing but very depressing and disturbing. as Michiko Kakutani puts it: "one of the most disturbing novels I've read in a long time.")

PLEASE READ THEM, they are those novels that stay with you for a very long time.

Things are going fine. I'm waiting for something that does not exist and I'm tired of it.
School is back in full swing: photography, 17 credits, papers, exams, clubs, stress.

And now for some rocky votolato...
HOLDING ONTO WATER
Some things can't be bottled
See how it's draining out the bottom
Just like holding onto water
My eyes will only open for so long

So show me everything
I'm always aching to see
It's not pretty I know
But still this is who I'll always be
I'm learning to trust you enough to take from you
You can trust me too
I have many gifts
That's right my God gave them to me
I've worked hard to learn to use them
And now I'll go and teach

Bothell is beautiful in the fall
Days of my youth were not so long ago
I learned things here that some men never see
The lucky ones know exactly what I mean
I'm learning to trust you enough to take from you
You can trust me too

School starts back tomorrow and I am very happy. Although it was nice to have the month off, I'm excited to get out of going to sleep at 4 and waking at 2 and get back into reading and papers.

I went to get my books today and my card was denied and last night I had a dream that I went to get my books and I couldn't. Crazy? I know.

2:21 am - Belated New Years Post
This time last year I was moving back to Arizona and going back to Mountain Pointe, not knowing which college I was going to go to. Never would I have thought that this year I would be living in alone, going to Fordham, and having friends in NY, and being where I am with myself today. I am proud of myself for how far I have come in a year. I know 2006 will be amazing, I can just feel it.

The past two weeks have been pretty busy. Finally I'm all settled and unpacked and organized.

My sister came this weekend for thanksgiving but she left on sunday. I miss her already.

School is great. Except Computer Science in which I may possibly get a D or F in, No joke. They were filming some jessica alba/hayden christensen movie at school today and they turned our lobby into a hospital. It was interesting but not exciting because it was fucking annoying having to exit a different way and not be able to use the library.

Anyway, I miss everyone in Arizona a lot, and I really want to keep in contact better so expect a call soon.

UPDATE, BITCHES

i picked out cabinets and tile for my apartment this weekend. all i need is a fridge, a stove, 3 possibly illegal immigrants, and a week and a half and i can move in.

everytime a busy school week ends, another one begins ie. my second 1250 word history paper is due wednesday. maybe you guys can help? here's my topic: The return of Napoleon Bonaparte to France after his exile to Elba was welcomed by the French because the state fell apart with King Louis XVIII reigning. So if anyone has any suggestions, they would be welcomed.

i got threatened on 42nd and 8th on friday night by a black man. kate was running and i grabbed her like a wifebeater would grab his wife to hit her and said "Don't you ever run away like that again." So then he said something along the lines of "...fucking punch you in the face..." Then we got ice cream.

it is really cold.

i'm so excited to move in.
